Make Henchies ping their DP when you do
The idea is simple. During vanquishing I'd like to now how much DP each of my partymembers has acquired. It's easy with heroes, because you just open their hero-window, but there is no way to exactly tell from how much DP your henchies are suffering.
So...
Quote:
I'm suffering form 15% Death Penalty!
|
Will yield....
Quote:
Mehnlo: I'm suffering from 13% Death Penalty!
Cynn: I'm suffering from 30% Death Penalty!
|
Same could be done to show their max Hp/Energy, hexes they are suffering from, enchantments they gain benefit from...
Nifty idea or just will-never-gonna-happen-because-Anet-is-working-on-GW2?

I'd like to see something like this implemented. Good idea.

instead of making them all ping when you do. Add an emote function so that you can just find out everything about them at once. Could type /cynn and cynn will say my dp is 30! my hp is 245! my energy is 65! my enchants r divine boon and fire attunement. My hexes are Rust! Maybe that would be to much chat for window though. Could leave out things like hp and energy.
BUT yea /signed I wish I could find out about them

Really useful idea. This kind of stuff is why people keep asking to be able to use all heroes instead of henchies at all.

Hey, they already mime you when you use emotes. Why not when the leader pings Health, Energy DP or effects?
- Leader pings Health, Energy, or DP, they do the same.
- Leader pings a condition, hex or enchantment, they ping the last condition (the that that would get removed first)
For the rest of skills (Shouts, Echoes, Chants, Weapon spells, Spirit Effects, etc) they would ping the effect if they have the same effect, and do nothing if they don't.
Hm... that would be great.

There are several places where this could be useful. My only fear is that it will lead to a lot of spamming by wammo idiots who ping their DP (and then ping all the henchies in the party) 25 times in 5 seconds. So, maybe like a delay counter so the henchies DP only can pop up once every 20 seconds or something.

but you would have to figure a way to make it less spammy as in you ping dp and all 7 henches spam off like LA d1 lol. perhaps on gw2, the party box will show all of that but you know, without it being in the way, sized right all that mumbo heh but great idea. hope to see it in gw2 cuz nothing like that will happen for gw1. the more we ask for changes, the more gw2 can get pushed back remember that.

I was thinking about that too, but that wammo would already be able to spam his own stuff. Maybe only let the party-leader initiate the pinging, he/she is the one who added the henchies to the party anyway.

I like the idea, just need it to be a simple thing like just pinging your own.

Would definitely be useful.
I hate having to open all their command boxes and ping them all separately.

There could be two possible ways:
A- They ping only for you when you ping
B- They ping for all party members when the leader pings.
A is good for, for example, monks, if they need to know how's Alesia doing.
B is as good as the leader is... which, unfortunately, it's 'not always at all'.

It would definitely get abused if you had like, 3 real people and 4 henchies in your party.
Someone would just spam+click everything and load up team chat, thinking they are hilarious.

A would work for me, would prevent any abuse. If you want to know your henchies stat, you ping. If you don't want to know, don't ping

It would make things so much easier, in a good way. The Arc-Tangent of Tender Wolf's easier threads, if you will. Not to-the-point correct mathematically, but you get the idea.

Either that or have the party's individual DP show up when you press O in PvE.
